One of our top priorities is to ensure members feel welcomed, represented and safe within our small family. Like in most families, misunderstanding can happen between members even with the best of intentions. Whether they are within our community or outside, as a main Muslim society on campus, we will seek to mitigate any potential issues and seek the best achievable outcome, Insha’Allah.
We have therefore created a space where your concerns are heard and dealt with professionally and confidentially.
As a student-led committee, we strive to resolve any conflict to the best of our ability. Above this, we are able to signpost and direct you towards external resources which may be of help for issues that are beyond our reach.
The outline of our complaints’ procedure is as follows:
Brisoc is notified of the issue through the complaint form
An initial meeting with our dedicated complaint-handling team is arranged
A resolution meeting is held
Subsequent meetings will be held if required, OR, signposting to appropriate organisations
