Yemen Emergency Appeal

We're fundraising for Human Relief Foundation because of the emergency crisis in Yemen.

A man asked the Prophet, "Which Islam is the best?" The Prophet ﷺ said, “To feed the hungry and to greet with peace those you know and those you do not know.” (Bukhari)

The people of Yemen are going through the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Five years of crisis have destroyed over 24 million lives. The effects of war, floods, famine, and outbreaks like COVID-19 and cholera have completely ripped the country apart.

BRISOC has teamed up with the Human Relief Foundation to provide families with nutritious food packages. Each food package, costing £60, will feed a family of 7 for a month. 12 million children, of which 2 million under 5, are suffering from malnutrition.

With your support, we aim to feed over 95 families for one whole month, Insha'Allah. May Allah make it easy for our brothers and sisters in Yemen and ease their hardships.

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter. Whoever alleviates [the situation of] one in dire straits who cannot repay his debt, Allah will alleviate his lot in both this world and in the Hereafter. Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter." (Muslim)
